Kanhaiya Kumar Accuses Manoj Tiwari of Absence and Deception in North East Delhi Campaign

Congress’ candidate for North East Delhi, Kanhaiya Kumar, launched scathing criticisms against BJP’s nominee, Manoj Tiwari, accusing him of prolonged absence from the constituency despite serving as an MP for two terms.

Kumar, during a campaign rally, asserted that Tiwari and the BJP had deceived voters twice before and were likely to repeat the same pattern of unfulfilled promises.

In videos shared on his official social media handles, Kumar highlighted the grievances of constituents who claimed to have rarely seen their MP over the past decade.

Promising a stark contrast, Kumar pledged to ensure that Tiwari would be more visible in the next 10 days than he had been in the past 10 years, vowing to bring the MP out of his distant bungalow to address the issues plaguing the constituency.

Accusing Tiwari and the BJP of resorting to empty rhetoric and failed commitments, Kumar asserted that they were disrespecting the people of the area by neglecting their concerns and responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav announced Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s forthcoming roadshows in support of Kumar and other Congress candidates.

Kejriwal is scheduled to hold roadshows in Model Town and Jahangirpuri, rallying thousands of Congress and Aam Aadmi Party workers in solidarity.

Yadav emphasized the seamless coordination between Congress and INDIA bloc workers across all seven Lok Sabha constituencies, highlighting the unity and determination that would be showcased in Kejriwal’s upcoming roadshow.

Additionally, the manifesto committee of Delhi Congress convened to finalize draft constituency-specific manifestos aimed at addressing pertinent issues in the three Lok Sabha seats contested by the party.

Chairman of the manifesto committee, Anil Chaudhary, affirmed that the draft copies would undergo review and approval by Yadav and AICC general secretary Deepak Babaria before dissemination.

The electoral battleground in Delhi is set for the sixth phase of polling on May 25, with voters eagerly anticipating the outcome of the fiercely contested Lok Sabha elections.
