On Friday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in a money laundering case associated with the now-defunct Delhi liquor policy.
Emerging from Tihar Jail, he stepped into a day packed with activities in the national capital. With his bail extending until June 1, Kejriwal embarked on a busy schedule, which included a visit to the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place at 11 am.
Following this spiritual engagement, he was slated to hold a press conference at 1 pm in the AAP party office.
The day’s highlight would be the two mega roadshows scheduled in different parts of Delhi – one in South Delhi at 4 pm and another in East Delhi at 6 pm.
These roadshows are integral to Kejriwal’s campaign efforts for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, where AAP candidates are vying for electoral success.
Kejriwal’s release from jail marked a pivotal moment in his campaign, allowing him to hit the ground running as he seeks to rally support for his party’s candidates across the capital.
