“Yogi Adityanath Accuses Congress of Advocating Beef Consumption Rights for Minorities”

In Short

  • Yogi Adityanath accuses Congress of allowing cow slaughter
  • Claims Congress plans to seize women’s wealth for Rohingyas, Bangladeshis
  • Says those hesitant in chanting patriotic slogans should not get votes

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a scathing attack on the Congress, alleging that the party is advocating for the rights of minorities to consume beef, which he contends amounts to sanctioning cow slaughter.

Speaking at an election rally in Bilari, Moradabad district, Adityanath vehemently criticized the Congress’s purported stance on this contentious issue, drawing a sharp contrast with the reverence accorded to cows in Indian culture.

Adityanath’s remarks underscored his belief that such advocacy by the Congress disregards the sanctity of the cow, often revered as “mother” in Hindu scriptures.

He condemned what he perceives as the Congress’s endorsement of cow slaughter, asserting that it contradicts the cultural and religious sentiments of the Indian populace.

Further denouncing the Congress’s policies, Adityanath accused the party of attempting to seize and redistribute women’s wealth, alleging that the party aims to allocate resources to Rohingyas and Bangladeshi infiltrators.

He criticized the Congress manifesto’s proposal for property assessment, claiming that it infringes upon individuals’ rights and undermines the nation’s integrity.

Adityanath also accused the Congress of pursuing divisive agendas, asserting that the party’s actions aim to sow seeds of discord and fragment the nation further.

He cited alleged plans by Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to visit Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, as evidence of the party’s double standards.

Adityanath claimed that while in power, the Congress questioned the existence of Lord Ram, yet now seeks to capitalize on religious sentiments for political gain.

The Chief Minister warned voters against supporting those who hesitate to chant patriotic slogans such as “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” insinuating that such individuals do not deserve electoral support.

With elections in Sambhal looming on May 7th, Adityanath’s impassioned rhetoric seeks to galvanize support for BJP candidate Parmeshwar Lal Saini while framing the Congress as a party at odds with traditional Indian values and national unity.
