In a distressing turn of events, Baba Tarsem Singh, holding the position of kar seva pramukh at Nanakmatta Gurdwara in Uttarakhand, fell victim to a fatal shooting perpetrated by two masked individuals. The incident, which unfolded between 6:15 and 6:30 am, was confirmed by Uttarakhand Director General of Police, Abhinav Kumar. Despite being swiftly transported to Khatima Hospital, Baba Tarsem Singh succumbed to his injuries.

Moreover, he explicitly held supporters of the committee accountable for any harm that may befall him.
