Jaime Maussan claims to reveal ancient “non-human” alien corpses in congressional hearing

UFO researcher and self-proclaimed expert, Jaime Maussan, presented what he claims are the remains of ancient “non-human” alien beings to the Mexican Congress. During a congressional hearing on UFOs, Maussan showcased the purported alien bodies, despite his history of making unverified claims related to extraterrestrial discoveries.

The specimens exhibited in glass display cases during the hearing featured small mummified bodies with tiny frames, three-fingered hands, and elongated heads, resembling something out of a science fiction movie. Maussan asserted that these remains were retrieved in 2017 from Cusco, Peru, and subsequent radiocarbon dating suggested they could be up to 1,800 years old.

While some of Maussan’s past claims have been debunked, he maintained that these bodies were genuine extraterrestrial specimens, although he did not provide third-party evidence to support his assertion. Speaking in Spanish during the hearing, Maussan stated, “This is the first time (extraterrestrial life) is presented in such a form, and I think there is a clear demonstration that we are dealing with non-human specimens that are not related to any other species in our world.”

The hearing aimed to discuss language related to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) in the Aerial Space Protection Law. If approved, Mexico would become the first nation to formally acknowledge the existence of alien life on Earth, according to reports from Reuters and local media.

Maussan claimed that the specimens were discovered fossilized in mines in Cusco, Peru, within a layer of diatomaceous earth, or ancient phytoplankton algae. He alleged that tests conducted by the National Autonomous University of Mexico revealed that over 30% of the specimens’ DNA was “unknown,” indicating that they did not belong to terrestrial evolution.

X-rays of the specimens were also presented during the hearing, with experts testifying under oath suggesting that one of the specimens had features resembling eggs or ovaries, while the other contained implants made of rare metals, such as Osmium.

Jaime Maussan, an investigative journalist with decades of experience in researching extraterrestrial phenomena, has faced skepticism in the past due to unverified claims. In 2015, he presented what was believed to be an alien body found in Nazca, Peru, which was later debunked as a mummified human child with a head deformity.

Maussan’s claims have also involved elongated skulls, which anthropologists have attributed to ancient practices of artificial cranial deformation rather than extraterrestrial origins. Earlier this year, he asserted that a photo depicting a UFO over the FC Juárez soccer stadium was evidence of “unidentified anomalous phenomena.”

Mexico’s hearing on UAP follows a similar congressional hearing held in the United States about two months ago. At the U.S. hearing, former Navy pilot Ryan Graves and former U.S. intelligence official David Grusch testified about encounters with mysterious flying objects and secretive Pentagon programs related to UFO research.
