Former Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, in response to inquiries regarding his nephew Prajwal Revanna, who faces accusations in a sex assault case, stated that the latter had not maintained contact with him even during his presence in Karnataka.
Kumaraswamy’s comments came after Revanna, the Janata Dal (Secular) MP from Hassan, failed to arrive in Bengaluru from Munich as anticipated.
Revanna has been entangled in a sex scandal following the circulation of explicit videos allegedly depicting women subjected to sexual abuse by him.
Despite being a Member of Parliament representing Hassan, Revanna purportedly remained disconnected from his uncle, HD Kumaraswamy, as per the former Chief Minister’s statement on Thursday.
Amid mounting controversies, Interpol has issued a blue corner notice against Prajwal Revanna, son of Karnataka MLA HD Revanna, on charges including rape, molestation, intimidation, blackmailing, and threatening.
Despite indications of his return, Revanna did not appear at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, as per his scheduled arrival from Germany aboard Lufthansa airways, as exclusively accessed by India Today TV.
